Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2023, BikeFest is a must-attend annual international festival attracting all brand motorcycle enthusiasts in their thousands from all over the world. As one of Europe’s premier free open motorcycle festivals, this 3-day motorcycle and rock music extravaganza takes place across Ireland’s June Bank Holiday weekend.

SELF-CATERING APARTMENTS
The self-catering apartments at The Gleneagle are located 300 metres from the hotel and 150 metres from the Bike Village overlooking our pitch and putt course and also the Flesk river. Each apartment includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and living area and can sleep up to five people comfortably. They are the perfect base for a group of friends looking for the independence of a self-catering Bikefest experience while also offering all the benefits of The Gleneagle Hotel amenities.

Carved from within the original foundations of the iconic Gleneagle, Hotel67 offers space-savvy guestrooms that are full of quirky and clever design elements, original features and all the mod cons you could possibly need – smart TVs, wifi, USB charge points.

Ireland Bikefest has a great line-up of international entertainment. We have some of the best tribute and cover bands that truly rock the weekend. And, even better it's all free on the outdoor stage, main INEC stage and and the Harley Bar in the Bike Village.

CUSTOM BIKESHOW
Show off your wheels at the ever popular Custom Bikeshow. It takes place on Sunday the 4th of June. Registration begins at 12.30 with judging taking place between 15.30 and 16.30. There are a range of categories inlcuding Best In Show, Best Radical, Best Trike, People's Choice, Best Adventure, Best Classic and much more...

The Bike Village will play host to a range of high octane activities for kids to come and be entertained, there will be a host of festival food options, photo ops, colourful bikes and characters, music, Novelty Dog Show, parade, furry friends, four legged friends, gadgets and gizmos. It’s fun all the way for kids across the three days of this festival and as the summer days grow long in warm sunshine this is heaven on earth for little people! And all in a safe and welcoming environment. You may even spot a minion or two… or three!!!
Getting here by bike
From Cork take the N22 to Killarney, on reaching Killarney follow signs for Muckross Road N71, the hotel is on the left-hand side approximately 1km from Killarney town centre.
From Kerry Airport, take the N22 towards Killarney & follow signs for the Muckross Road N71, the Gleneagles hotel is on the left-hand side approximately 1km from Killarney town centre.
From Shannon Airport, take the N18 to Limerick, take the N21 to Castleisland, then take the N22 to Killarney and follow the signs for the Muckross Road.
Bus & Train Station
If you are travelling by Train or Bus we provide a complimentary shuttle bus facility from Killarney Train Station for our guests.
The free shuttle bus meets every train from Dublin up to 5pm daily.
