"Great Family Vacation."
As a regular Blogger after any stay away I loved that from the moment we arrived we could feel the Genuine Warmth from all Staff to a Hotel that Catered for all our Tastes...... From Cleaners, Bar Staff, Receptionist Staff, Management and,.... above all.....everyone involved in the Kiddies Club.
THE HOTEL: We traveled as a Family from Galway from July 5-8th July, Parents in their 60/70's, myself in my 40's and my 7 yr old Daughter. We stayed in a family room for 3 nights (335), the weather very humid, the requested fan saved a relatively decent nights sleep (Next time on recommendation from front line staff we will book apartments for more Space) but the rooms had all we needed besides that.... Clean, Plenty of Towels and Lots of Hot Water!
THE FOOD.....Hats off Guys, we were over joyed at finding something to suit all pallets and all ages, swoping around sides dishes to suit all of us.....very hot to the table and restaurant staff very Obliging even finding a socket to charge my dying phone to catch those great moments on my Camera!
Residents cud avail of a very varied breakfast on each morning up to a very decent time of 11am and it was well spotted by myself that all ages catered for by hotel and staff even down to the Children's Pancake Maker that kept the kids busy, plenty of high chairs for the wee ones and every request for seconds of Tea/Coffee were honored......A Credit to all Staff involved!!
THE FACILITIES: Again a multitude to do! The Bar staff happy to host a few Mayo Families for the GAA Match we waited on all day, Coffee and treats available from early morning as well as full bar menu, Drinks reasonable for Hotel Prices, A Games Room that filled a Lotta time in between(and emptied Mom's Toll Money), Beautiful Pool with amazing facilities but above all The Crowning Glory on our Trip was the Kids Club, my 7 year old... been on her own.... was absolutely engrossed with all staff involved including all the Extras given to the kids.....Ye certainly earn yer Money!!Great Shows/Movies Everyday!
The night time Entertainment was Brilliant, bar one night all Residents were free in, my parents Fav was Declan Nearney and for a €10 we saw some amazing Dancers jive the Floor! We even gave it a Whirl ourselves after a few Brave Ones!
TOURISTS: Been in Kerry you couldn't not do the Day Trip of The Ring of Kerry! At €22 its a Steal and Sean our Host provided a Very Educational Tour(Just don't talk over him though!!) Multiple Stops at all the Great Photographic Spots and weather Favored Us!! We stopped high in the Mountains for a Meal, a well organized Restaurant, friendly Staff and above all the Views are to die for!
But above all after my 7 yr old developed a tonsillitis, an appt was arranged at South Doc, a map printed to the Clinic and said antibiotic catered for behind the Desk in a fridge by Management! What impressed me most was the Staff (Out of Hundreds of Guests) knew what I was looking for as I queued for the Desk..(Tara if i remember rightly....she always had a Lolly too so was my Daughters Favorite!)....Outstanding Service!
I'm sure there is lots I'm forgetting, but thanks from all in the Family for a Great 3 Nights.......We highly Recommend and We Will Be Back!!!!!!.
