Lovely hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely.
Apartment much better than expected. Good size, nicely decorated and well stocked.
Great hotel - ideal for doing the ring of Kerry cycle - with the early breakfast and very courteous staff
Hotel was lovely. Food in the very nice and the 3 course meal for €25 was very good value. The things i didnt like were the glass in the balcony door in our room was very dirty and took the nice look off the room. Also i wasnt too keen on the bath shower in my room. It is very hard to have a decent shower in a bath. I am 6ft talk and my head was nearly tipping the roof and had very little room to move. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay
We had the pleasure to stay in the 2 bed apartments and participate in the ring of Kerry charity cycle really enjoyed both.
This is our third year staying at the Gleneagle apartments. All I can say is Wow!! Absolutely amazing stay. Our apartment had been recently renovated and everything eas so fresh and new. It was very comfortable and the kids had a great time swimming playing tennis and golf. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!!
Lovely facilities, friendly warm, helpful staff.
Lovely Hotel big room with Balcony looking out over national park great night entertainment we will be back
The Staff were very friendly and attentive at breakfast. The food was excellent. We found it difficult to get food late at night in the Ballroom. The bar had a band and the music was to loud we had to move to the ballroom. The bedroom was clean. Excellent facilities of s shop and ATM. Thank you for a lovely visit, we will be back.
We recently stayed in the Gleneagle Hotel for our wedding anniversary. We were surprised and absolutely delighted to find on our check in that we had been upgraded to a suite. During our stay we found staff to be extremely helpful and attentive particularly in the restaurant. All meals were fantastic and the entertainment each night was a fabulous touch. We will definitely be looking forward to spending more breaks in the Gleneagle.
great hotel to stay in ,meals etc.very good and entertainment very good .spacious lounges to hang about in also staff best ever
It was first time staying at the Gleneagles but it certainly won't be my last. We were there for the world championships and had a great stay. The only fault I'd have is that the check out is 11am and 10am if in the apartments
Fantastic staff, great breakfast great facilities and the location is perfect
We stayed during the Mike Denver concert and as guests we were allowed into the concert for free, The staff found extra seating for us and were very helpful and friendly, this really topped off a lovely few days stay in the Gleneagle. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, we will be back.
We had a fantastic stay at Gleneagle apartments very child friendly and staff were l9vely would definitely go back for another stay
Staff top class rooms well kept people lovely to talk to we had a very nice study will come again
Lovely staff. Very friendly and helpful. Great customer service attitude. There is a lot going on in the hotel, but I asked for a quiet room, and that is exactly what I got. The buffet breakfast is decent.
Really enjoyed my stay had a great time
We were touring Ireland and picked the hotel randomly but were very pleased with our choice. The room was well appointed and I did get the top sheet I requested although it was on the top (blanket underneath) but next day they worked out what I'd meant! The food was excellent - had dinner out on the first night (recommended by the Welsh taxi driver who even called ahead and booked us a table - great result all round!). Had dinner in the hotel the second night and both service and food were excellent. The pool was great and the free entertainment was a bonus! The singer on the first night was excellent - disappointed we didn't have on our dancing shoes though to join in!
we enjoyed the hospitality & professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness & the comfort of the apartments. The location was also great
Martin on reception just a gentleman so helpful.. Regards Caroline
I couldnt fault the gleneagle apartments lovely location big and spacious for the kids with everything we could possibly need I will definitely return soon.
Loved staying in the hotel
Was a lovely room, comfy beds, very clean & overall I really liked it, the only issue I'd have is with the heat, it was ridiculously hot all the time, even after opening the window & leaving open all night
I brought my granny down for a weekend and decoded to stay here as it was recommended to me by a friend. Staff are so helpful and friendly, breakfast was lovely and had great selection. We didn't find the beds and pillows that comfortable, I thought for the price of hotel room they would have been better but apart from that I couldnt fault the hotel on anything
Stayed at this hotel for the nathan carter weekend ideal destination lovely rooms although hotel a little dated in terms of furnishings. Excellent breakfast and lots of entertainment available til the early hours.
Great very friendly staff
The cleaning lady in charge couldn't do enough for us she was fab , sorry I didn't get her name
We had 2 appartments on ground level.ideal for young children.loads of space.very clean nice and warm.staff very friendly.especially a superviser who provided us with extra towels tloliet rolls and milk.i dont know her name but knew her stuff and very good..pool and indoor soft area was lovely too.just with young children we woul like to see a fence with gates with young children can run out on the road from the back just for safety.otherwise we will be back to stsy and highly recommend them to friends and family
The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms always a bonus. We were only there for 4 nights but we had a service after two nights which was excellent. Considering most of the people staying were Irish Dancers I was totally impressed by the lack of noise from other apartments. Probably could do with some more equipment in the kitchen; there were loads of glasses and plates but saucepans and other basics were a bit sparse. Overall a very happy experience.
Hello, My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The accommodation was very good, the staff excellent and the food was terrific. I know a lot of people only write to complain and I don't wish to join that group but i'm sure you would like to hear anything that might make it better for the next visitors. 2 small matters that could be easily fixed are 1, the sink in the bathroom was partially blocked and took quite some time to drain 2; The kettle was not very efficient and i gave up on trying to make a cup of tea/coffee. As I said i am not writing to complain and would stay there again
Nice location & venue for our event. Wonderful restaurants, bar, shop, & pool. And the staff was awesome: the most personable, hardworking, & professional I've ever experienced
We enjoyed our stay immensely. I had previously won a Facebook competition with this hotel including tickets to Dirty Dancing and an over night stay. I loved it so much I booked to return last weekend with my partner and son for some rest & relaxation. Our rooms weren't ready on arrival so the staff happily stored our luggage while we went to do a bit of shopping. That evening, we watched the rugby in the bar, enjoyed a glorious dip in the pool & jacuzzi and had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant, ending up asleep by 10.30pm, we were so relaxed, so we made full use of all facilities in the hotel. We intend to organise another weekend in the large apartments in October with all the family after seeing the displays for the exciting kids entertainment on offer.
We love stay at the Gleneagle, very well looked after by all the staff especially the housekeeping staff, love the dancing, bands excellent. Thank you Pauline and Richard
Had a fantastic stay at the apartments with my Husband and our two young girls. The accommodation was very spacious , comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the swimming pool in the hotel aswell as the restaurants and in particular the children's evening entertainment. Highly recommend it for a family break, we will definitely be returning
Stayed in the Apartments for the Easter weekend. Apartments were clean, very spacious and the complimentary milk tea coffee etc is an added extra that most hotels do not give. Will be returning again for another stay definitely. Also the entertainment for kids & adults was brilliant as usual.
We stayed at the apartments - they were fabulous. Only criticism is the walk through the car park to the hotel, the defined walk ways for pedestrians are non existent and lighting is pretty poor after dark. Everything else was lovely. thanks
We were satisfied with all aspects of our stay. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful especially in organising excursions. As one of our reasons for visiting Killarney was to attend the Chris de Burgh concert in the INEC this hotel was ideally situated. We made good use of the shuttle bus service. We loved the area and hope to visit again.
It is great hotel great for kids..
I've just returned from a four night stay in the apartments at Gleneagles. They were exceptionally large, spotless, very well equipped and perfect for all our needs. My two sons, 7 and 9 had great fun making friends and participating in all the activities during the day and evenings. Our only difficulty was finding time to eat. As the hotel can be very busy we were grateful for the chance to chill in our own space at the apartment All staff were very friendly and accommodating, I particularly liked how quickly and easily they remembered the boys, giving me a sense that they would be well looked after. I will definitely be booking a stay at the apartments again, and this time I might venture out to see all that Killarney had to offer.
I stayed at the hotel for 1 night rooms very comfortable, brilliant breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff, had no complaints, wish I could have stayed longer
Always excellent, beautiful accommodation , food lovely and staff are always so friendly and chatty. Entertainment makes an enjoyable stay . Couldn't praise hotel enough. Thanks for a really relaxing and enjoyable stay . Xxx
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Myself and the other guests in our apartment were extremely satisfied with our stay. The apartment itself was amazing, loved the little touches with the milk and cereal etc. The location was convenient to the INEC and to town. Mainly we were very happy with the staff, especially the man who checked us in originally. Throughout our stay he was extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly - it's unfortunate I didn't catch his name! All the members of staff we encountered were lovely. I would 100% recommend you and would stay again. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
From the moment we arrived at reception the staff were lovely room very comfortable food excellent Isobel so helpful to us first time stay in gleneagle hotel looking forward to coming back soon
We had a fantastic stay. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The food was delicious. We will be back again very soon.
Hi, I was attending a family party and I booked one of your apartments. I do not normally leave reviews but I am for this as our accommodation was excellent. The milk, tea bags and coffee plus the breakfast you guys left for us was a very nice touch. So thank you very much for a great stay.
We always love staying at the gleneagle hotel.
