The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms always a bonus. We were only there for 4 nights but we had a service after two nights which was excellent. Considering most of the people staying were Irish Dancers I was totally impressed by the lack of noise from other apartments. Probably could do with some more equipment in the kitchen; there were loads of glasses and plates but saucepans and other basics were a bit sparse. Overall a very happy experience.
Hello, My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The accommodation was very good, the staff excellent and the food was terrific. I know a lot of people only write to complain and I don't wish to join that group but i'm sure you would like to hear anything that might make it better for the next visitors. 2 small matters that could be easily fixed are 1, the sink in the bathroom was partially blocked and took quite some time to drain 2; The kettle was not very efficient and i gave up on trying to make a cup of tea/coffee. As I said i am not writing to complain and would stay there again
Nice location & venue for our event. Wonderful restaurants, bar, shop, & pool. And the staff was awesome: the most personable, hardworking, & professional I've ever experienced
We enjoyed our stay immensely. I had previously won a Facebook competition with this hotel including tickets to Dirty Dancing and an over night stay. I loved it so much I booked to return last weekend with my partner and son for some rest & relaxation. Our rooms weren't ready on arrival so the staff happily stored our luggage while we went to do a bit of shopping. That evening, we watched the rugby in the bar, enjoyed a glorious dip in the pool & jacuzzi and had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant, ending up asleep by 10.30pm, we were so relaxed, so we made full use of all facilities in the hotel. We intend to organise another weekend in the large apartments in October with all the family after seeing the displays for the exciting kids entertainment on offer.
We love stay at the Gleneagle, very well looked after by all the staff especially the housekeeping staff, love the dancing, bands excellent. Thank you Pauline and Richard
Had a fantastic stay at the apartments with my Husband and our two young girls. The accommodation was very spacious , comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the swimming pool in the hotel aswell as the restaurants and in particular the children's evening entertainment. Highly recommend it for a family break, we will definitely be returning
Stayed in the Apartments for the Easter weekend. Apartments were clean, very spacious and the complimentary milk tea coffee etc is an added extra that most hotels do not give. Will be returning again for another stay definitely. Also the entertainment for kids & adults was brilliant as usual.
We stayed at the apartments - they were fabulous. Only criticism is the walk through the car park to the hotel, the defined walk ways for pedestrians are non existent and lighting is pretty poor after dark. Everything else was lovely. thanks
We were satisfied with all aspects of our stay. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful especially in organising excursions. As one of our reasons for visiting Killarney was to attend the Chris de Burgh concert in the INEC this hotel was ideally situated. We made good use of the shuttle bus service. We loved the area and hope to visit again.
It is great hotel great for kids..
I've just returned from a four night stay in the apartments at Gleneagles. They were exceptionally large, spotless, very well equipped and perfect for all our needs. My two sons, 7 and 9 had great fun making friends and participating in all the activities during the day and evenings. Our only difficulty was finding time to eat. As the hotel can be very busy we were grateful for the chance to chill in our own space at the apartment All staff were very friendly and accommodating, I particularly liked how quickly and easily they remembered the boys, giving me a sense that they would be well looked after. I will definitely be booking a stay at the apartments again, and this time I might venture out to see all that Killarney had to offer.
I stayed at the hotel for 1 night rooms very comfortable, brilliant breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff, had no complaints, wish I could have stayed longer
Always excellent, beautiful accommodation , food lovely and staff are always so friendly and chatty. Entertainment makes an enjoyable stay . Couldn't praise hotel enough. Thanks for a really relaxing and enjoyable stay . Xxx
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Myself and the other guests in our apartment were extremely satisfied with our stay. The apartment itself was amazing, loved the little touches with the milk and cereal etc. The location was convenient to the INEC and to town. Mainly we were very happy with the staff, especially the man who checked us in originally. Throughout our stay he was extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly - it's unfortunate I didn't catch his name! All the members of staff we encountered were lovely. I would 100% recommend you and would stay again. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
From the moment we arrived at reception the staff were lovely room very comfortable food excellent Isobel so helpful to us first time stay in gleneagle hotel looking forward to coming back soon
We had a fantastic stay. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The food was delicious. We will be back again very soon.
Hi, I was attending a family party and I booked one of your apartments. I do not normally leave reviews but I am for this as our accommodation was excellent. The milk, tea bags and coffee plus the breakfast you guys left for us was a very nice touch. So thank you very much for a great stay.
We always love staying at the gleneagle hotel.
Each member of staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. Food is excellent with friendly atmosphere everywhere.
We had a really great weekend the hotel has everything a family needs
I stayed in the apartments with my wife and 2 toddlers for 3 nights. The apartments were a perfect location for this. They are very clean modern apartments and had all the amenities you'd need. Plenty of space for the toddlers to wander around without worry. The hotel facilitated us with all our requests like cots and high chairs. Even the wifi was very strong. Access to the facilities in the hotel like the swimming pool and play centre was important on those wet days. We would happily recommend these apartments.
What can one say when all was perfect room food and of course the staff
Staff was absolutely lovely, helped my little sister organise a secret birthday cake for me, they were fantastic and could not credit them enough. Thank you for a brilliant weekend.
Fantastic hotel with great staff. We had a great stay and without a doubt we will be back soon..
I have stayed in the gleneagle hotel both with My husband and sister for the past six years. It's always my first choice of hotel for a break away. From the minute you arrive you are welcomed by the most friendly staff. It's home away from home I love it here and it's most relaxing. Thank you for always making our stay memorable. Marie Pratt

Not our first stay and definitely won't be our last, from check in to check out the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Friendly helpfull staff, clean bright rooms, lots of family entertainment, including pool - always a hit with kids.
Lovely room friendly and helpful staff definitely will stay at the Gleneagle again
I don't think I have ever met such nice staff in any hotel I have stayed in. They couldn't do enough for me and were so pleasant and helpful. The rooms were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. I travelled from Scotland, picked up my mam's from Dublin and spent a lot of time getting there but it was worth it. Thank you.
Very friendly staff, and very willing to help and accommodating. Thanks
Very nice hotel, would definitely recommend.
Stayed for two nights in Gleneagle Hotel. We were travelling in a party of five so we had a family room which was a great size and a double room with balcony.. Would highly recommend hotel. Staff were brilliant and overall hotel was spotless. There was entertainment both nights in the ball room and when that finished people moved onto another bar were there was more music until 2am. Plenty of plush sofas in lobby to relax and enjoy the music if you didn't feel like sitting in bar.. Great pool with sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi. .Breakfast time was busy but the staff worked extra hard to ensure everyone was looked after.. Overall a great hotel and we throughly enjoyed our stay. ..
Absolutely perfect zero complaints

2015 was a bit of a blur for Gavin James. He lost count of how many gigs he played, couldn’t say how many countries he visited and hasn’t a clue how few days off he got. The highlights, however, he will never forget.
Signing to a major label in January was the first. Seeing the live album he’d recorded at his local pub Whelan’s for next to nothing take off across the world was another. Supporting friend and fan Ed Sheeran for two nights at his hometown’s huge Croke Park (75,000), spending the summer supporting Sam Smith in the States and opening for Taylor Swift in Hyde Park were among them. There was sizzling on stage at a sun-soaked Red Rocks, a concert in South Carolina where the size of the crowd scared him and selling out his debut New York show at Mercury Lounge.
Last year was a blast, but it was only the beginning for the toweringly-tall, down-to-earth Dubliner whose heavenly voice, heart-warming, spine-tingling songs and habit of jumping in to audiences to start sing-alongs has won him an army of fans around the world. 2016’s schedule is already full. The sold-out shows – headline this time – have already begun, with a three-night run at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre – as has platinum Top 5 sales for his debut album, Bitter Pill, in his native Ireland, where he was awarded Song Of The Year for the album’s title track at the Choice Music Prize.
And now comes Bitter Pill’s global release. Several of its songs will be familiar to fans of Live At Whelan’s, the intimate live album the singer released at the start of last year as a calling card, but didn’t expect to connect beyond his homeland. On Bitter Pill, those songs have been given the grand setting and loving attention they deserve. Gavin’s raw delivery remains, as does his powerful falsetto, but now there are strings, choir-like backing vocals and electric instruments that add drama to the uptempo tracks.
