Some staff career progressions

John Abbing

John joined the company from Holland on 31st March 2003 as a Waiter in the Flesk Restaurant in the Gleneagle Hotel. After proving himself in the restaurant he moved to the bar in the recently opened 4 * Brehon Hotel in 2004. promoted to Restaurant Manager in The Brehon Restaurant in 2005. He was subsequently promoted to Duty Manager in The Brehon in 2006

Lekha Vasan

Lekha joined the company as a Receptionist int The Gleneagle hotel in July 2000. She ws one of the first members of staff from Malysia. In 2001 she was awarded Employee of the Year . In June 2002 she was promoted to Head Receptionist . She married John ,whom she met in the hotel when he worked there as a Porter, in April 2005.

Martina Mayse

Joined the company as Kids Club Attendant. She studied Leisure Management in Tralee IT and after graduation was promoted to Aquila Club Assistant Manager 2000. she then oversaw Leisure Centre getting a White Flag in 2005. After this she moved to Angsana Spa in The Brehon in 2006 as Leisure Manager. Here she oversaw further development in Angsana Spa in 2006 including getting White Flag Award in both 2005 & 2006.
